So this is about, how do airplanes work, para mí es un sueño

So a real breathrough for the Wright Brothers,
was their three-axis aerodynamic control system,
which they patented in 1906.
I worked as a Control Systems Engineer,
for quite sometime, but I like to think of it,
as Feedback Systems now.
So let's put a hand in the air, y'all,
and find a horizontal axis, if we can.
We go up and down, and rest,
and dat be da pitch, see.

Okay, okay, so back on da horizontal axis der,
and we roll, to da right, and left, and rest.
Dat's da second element, see, da roll,
and we can rest, and love and love.
And finally, so amazingly,
we can move da whole arm and hand, togetha,
right and left, around da vertical axis, and rest, tada,
and dat's really what pilots and engineers call the yaw,
let's say it y'all ~ yaw, and we can sing too, yaw.
So, these two loving brothers,
actually worked with bicycles a lot,
in Dayton, Ohio, before they began,
really looking a lot at Aviation Engineering.
Neither Wilbur nor Orville went to college, actually,
but I learned at the National Air and Space Museum,
in Washington, D.C.,
that they loved to study Maths with their dad.
So tomorrow, we can put awn our thinking caps,
and think about, where on an airplane, we find engines,
to help with the feedback system for, really,
the location of the airplane upon a three-dimensional grid.
And brave princes and princesses and lovely beauteous peoples,
need sleep, and ta bed, says an angel nearby,

Before we go anywhere on an airplane,
there are professional Aviation Specialists,
who do beautiful safety inspections,
and I'm so grateful for this and for their beautiful lives.
So what we described yesterday,
was for me, dance-like, really
and was an analytical way of describing,
the possible movements, in relation to,
a three dimensional air space,
for an airplane.
Now the airplane moves forward, you know,
on the ground,
if we've been on a plane,
we can remember, perhaps, how the two jet engines,
underneath each large wing,
one on the right and one on the left, of the airplane,
actually thrust the physical structure,
in a forward moving direction.
Let's pause here, so we can think about,
a distinction here.
The pitch, the roll, and the yaw,
are three elements for the control system
of an airplane, in three dimensional space,
and this concept was included,
with the Wright Brothers' patent, in 1906.
So we can come back to the bicycle, right,
how do we steer a bicycle, on the ground?
That's not the same as what we do,
when we pedal the bike, to move forward,
on the ground,
so there is a distinction,
with what I would like to say,
is (1), the aerodynamic control system of the plane,
for steering, in three dimensional space,
and (2), the velocity control system of the plane,
helping to thrust the plane forward, on the ground.
Now the airplane has a forward moving velocity,
in the air also, but we'll stop here for now,
and think about a beautiful lunch time,
before a nap, and little walk in the library, with mum.
